The area of Upper Kamenjak is located between the villages of Premantura in the south and Volme up north. It is represented by a stunning landscape covered with diverse habitats. Upper Kamenjak is primarily an area important for plant diversity, containing over 500 different species, with animal and fungi species not being less represented.
